🕐 Before You Visit ▼
Temple opens for darshan around 4:30 AM.
Reach the queue line at least 15 minutes before your booked time slot.
Darshan and Seva tickets are generally booked 10 days in advance.
Next month's tickets are usually released during the last week of the current month.
👕 Dress Code ▼
Sparsha Darshan & Abhishekam
✓Men: Dhoti or Kurtha Pyjama
✓Women: Saree or Punjabi Dress with Dupatta
Alankara Darshan
✓Normal decent clothing such as shirt and pants is generally allowed, since devotees view the deity from a distance.
📱 Mobile, Luggage & Footwear ▼
Mobile phones are not allowed inside the temple.
A cloak room is available opposite the main queue line.

♿ Senior Citizens, Infants & Accessibility ▼
Senior citizens do not need a General Darshan ticket — they are directed to the ₹150 Darshan queue. Aadhaar card is required for age proof.
Parents carrying a baby below one year are also allowed through the ₹150 Darshan queue.
Wheelchair service is available.
🙏 Darshan & Sevas ▼
On normal days, Sparsha Darshan may take around 2–3 hours.
Abhishekam materials are provided by the temple.
Samuhik Abhishekam devotees who cannot sit on the floor may comfortably sit on the side wall inside the hall while performing the pooja.
Abhishekam and Kumkumarchana Sevas are generally available Tuesday to Friday.
💧 Temple Facilities ▼
Queue compartments have toilet facilities.
Drinking water is available at several locations along the queue.
Both Mallikarjuna Swamy (Jyotirlinga) and Goddess Bhramaramba (Shakti Peetha) are inside the same temple complex. The queue is designed so devotees receive darshan of both.
🍽️ After Darshan ▼
Don't miss the temple Annadanam after completing your darshan.
Annadanam is generally served from 11:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
The Annadanam Hall is located near the Laddu Counter.
Pulihora Prasadam is generally available in the morning at the Laddu Counter (subject to availability).
🚶 Travel Tips ▼
Cars are generally not allowed near the main queue line, except for elderly persons, persons with disabilities, or VIP Darshan.
It is approximately an 8-minute walk from Nandi Circle to the main queue line.
💵 Carry cash. Due to occasional mobile network issues, UPI may not always work and some shops accept only cash. During weekends and festivals nearby ATMs may run out — some shops provide cash withdrawal services.
🪪 Identity Proof ▼
Carry a printed copy of your darshan or seva ticket.
Carry the same identity proof used while booking online (Aadhaar, PAN, Voter ID, etc.).
⚠️ Since mobile phones are not allowed inside the temple, you cannot show your ticket on your phone.
