“Something is wrong” error while registering on Srisailam temple website or app

Many devotees sometimes see a “Something is wrong” error while trying to register on the official Srisailam temple website or temple app.

There is no confirmed workaround for this error. In some cases, the error may continue for several days or even weeks, so devotees can keep trying periodically.

Srisailam Anna Prasadam Timings

Free Annadana prasadam (meals) is served daily at Annapurna Bhavanam in Srisailam.

Timings: 11:30 AM to around 3:30 PM daily.

After Bhramaramba Devi Darshan, while devotees are leaving the temple, temple officials generally distribute Annadanam tokens. Devotees can use the token to receive free Annadana prasadam at Annapurna Bhavanam, located near the Laddu Counter. It is approximately 300 metres from the temple exit.

How many Sparsha Darshan tickets can be booked at once through Mana Mitra?

You can book up to 6 Sparsha Darshan tickets at a time through Mana Mitra. Only one devotee name is enough . Same with seegra darshan and athiseegra darshan.

For children ticket required for seva or darshan ?

For children below 10 years of age, no separate ticket is required for Seva or Darshan. If the child is taller than usual for their age, carry the child’s Aadhaar card as proof of age to confirm that they are below 10 years.

There are three recommended ways to book Srisailam Darshan and Seva tickets:

Offline Counter at Srisailam
Offline counters can provide Seeghra Darshan and Athiseeghra Darshan tickets.

Important: Check Both Online Booking Channels

The Srisailam Devasthanam website and WhatsApp Mana Mitra have separate quotas. Therefore, if a ticket or Seva is unavailable through one channel, check the other channel as well.

Availability on one channel does not necessarily mean that the same ticket or Seva is unavailable through the other channel.

Known Booking Problems

1. “Something went wrong” during website registration

Sometimes the Srisailam Devasthanam website may show a “Something went wrong” error while registering. In some cases, this problem may continue for several days.

If you experience this problem, try booking through WhatsApp Mana Mitra instead.

2. Payment completed but WhatsApp Mana Mitra ticket is not generated

Sometimes payment may be deducted but the ticket may not immediately appear in WhatsApp Mana Mitra.

Wait approximately 20 minutes.
If the ticket is still not generated and the payment has been deducted, do not immediately make another payment.
When you arrive at Srisailam on the booked date, visit the CRO office.
A touchscreen kiosk is available at the CRO office.
Select WhatsApp Ticket on the kiosk.
Enter the mobile number used for the booking.
The kiosk can generate and print the ticket.

Example: If you booked a Darshan or Seva ticket for 15 August and the ticket was not generated in WhatsApp after successful payment, you can visit the CRO office at Srisailam on 15 August and use the kiosk to obtain the printed ticket.

In Abhishekam ticket, can we have Sparsh Darshan ( i.e., can we touch the Shiva Lingam? )

Yes , in abhishekam you can touch shiv lingam . Both Garbhalaya Abhishekam and Samuhika Abhishekam allow the devotee to personally pour water and touch the Shiva Lingam. Lot of devotees think that with Abhishekam ticket they cannot touch Shiva Lingam but its not true.

Srisailam Sparsha Darshan: ( AUGUST ) New Rules for VIP Recommendation Letters

Srisailam Sparsha Darshan: Changes for Recommendation Letters

The Srisailam Devasthanam has made several changes to the timings for Sparsha Darshan for VIPs and prominent persons arriving with recommendation letters.

According to the latest decision, devotees with recommendation letters will not be permitted for Sparsha Darshan during the morning and afternoon on Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays. Sparsha Darshan will be permitted only during the night on these three days.

During the Fridays of the holy Shravan ( august ) month, Sparsha Darshan will be permitted only during the night, with limited access.

VIPs and prominent persons must submit their recommendation letters digitally to the temple’s Protocol Department at least two days before the scheduled darshan. Officials have advised sending the letters to protocol@srisailadevasthanam.org or via WhatsApp to 91600 16215.

Letters that are not received in advance, or letters submitted directly on the day of darshan, cannot be processed. EO Srinivasa Rao has urged devotees to take note of these changes and cooperate with the temple administration.

🪔 RITUAL 2 Light Deepam & Offer Dhoopam ▼

Devotees light deepams at Gangadhara Mandapam — before the main temple gopuram, near the large restricted gate. At the same place you can also offer dhoopam to the Jyotirlingam and Bhramaramba Devi. This is said to bring immense wealth.

🕯️ For deepam: cold-pressed sesame oil or desi cow ghee (the vedic way is preferred).

🔥 For dhoopam: dried desi cow dung cakes must be used. Also called dhoop, sambrani or incense.

A sacred ritual performed for departed ancestors — to help their souls attain moksha, break the cycle of rebirth, and receive their blessings. Performing it at a powerful Teertha Sthala is considered far more effective than elsewhere.
